Students will begin to learn how to practically apply the skills learned in the Emerging Foundations Phase in a sheltered-work environment for 24 instructional weeks. The Transition Expansion Phase consists of the Be Fruitful Garden (BFG) program in which I/DD clients will learn to harvest crops in a twenty-foot temperature-controlled grow container. At the end of 24 instructional weeks, I/DD young adults will have mastered:
*Grooming/Hygiene
*Following Directions
*Quality of Work
*Quantity of Work
*Dependability
*Forming working relationships
