Bridge the Gap Phase

Students will take the skills learned in the first to phases to prepare them for a community based enterprise and provide our clients an opportunity to work for the purposes of non-paid vocational exploration, assessment, and training experiences. In the Bridge the Gap Phase, local volunteer chefs will teach I/DD clients how to prepare nutritious meals with the items harvested to serve in a mobile food delivery service for individuals struggling with food insecurity. By the end of 24 instructional weeks, I/DD young adults will have mastered:

*Work maturity skills

*Become a self-advocate
