The Program for Infant Toddler Care (PITC), funded by the NJ Department of Human Services, Division of Family Development, assists educators of very young children in providing the skills necessary to work in the field of childcare with children ages birth through three years. The PITC program has two predominant goals:

To improve the quality of Infant/Toddler early care across the state

To increase the availability of quality early care programs for families with infants and toddlers

In order to meet these goals we provide this series of classes help to enhance and empower infant-toddler caregivers by receiving the professional recognition and education needed to provide quality childcare:

We also offer Technical Assistance to actively participating programs enrolled in Grow NJ Kids who have infants/toddlers in care. As well as to Family Childcare (FCC) Providers.

Sometimes the training can vary but most of the trainings are offered throughout the year two to three times in English and Spanish.
