When necessary, ACCNJ engages at the judicial level to preserve the collective rights of members and provide the union contractor perspective on issues before the courts. This can include the filing of amicus briefs when litigation presents matters that will have an adverse effect upon members of the entire construction community. ACCNJ will also preemptively engage governmental officials regarding the legality of rules, regulations and enforcement mechanisms used or implemented by the various state agencies.
