Ants

Ants are small, social insects that live in colonies. They have a three-segmented body, six legs, and antennae. Ants come in many different colors including red, black, yellow, and brown. They feed on a variety of foods such as nectar, plant matter, and other insects. Ants communicate with one another through chemical signals called pheromones. In the colony, ants work together to build nests and forage for food. They also protect their colony from predators by forming defensive lines or attacking intruders. Ants can be found all over the world in almost any environment, from deserts to forests to urban areas.
