Willamette Valley First Responder Chaplains provide critical care to first responders in the Willamette Valley region of Oregon. The chaplaincy program is comprised of volunteer chaplains from various faith backgrounds who are trained and certified to provide spiritual and emotional support to first responders, their families, and their communities. The chaplains are available 24/7 to respond to traumatic events such as fires, natural disasters, accidents, or other emergencies. They offer crisis intervention, counseling services, prayer support, pastoral care, and grief counseling. They also provide educational programs on topics such as stress management and self-care for first responders.
