Anne Carl - Candidate for County Recorder
Anne Carl is a dedicated and accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in both civil and criminal law. As a Civil and Criminal Deputy for the Cochise County Attorney, she not only prosecuted cases but also provided counsel to the County Recorder, Elections, and various other county departments. As a sole practitioner, she diligently represented public schools, municipalities, private businesses, and individual clients with integrity, earning recognition as a Top 50 Pro Bono Attorney by the Arizona Bar Foundation in 2019. Anne’s deep commitment to law is further reflected in her roles as a teacher, speaker, and ethics trainer, as well as a law clerk, administrative law judge, and member of the State Bar CLE Committee, where she continued to build trust and credibility within the community.
Beyond her legal career, Anne has demonstrated her passion for community service through various leadership roles. As a co-founder of Old Bisbee Firewise, a nonprofit organization focused on fire prevention, she received grants and administered programs that directly benefited the local community. Her work as a private and commercial property manager has allowed her to deepen her connection to the county she loves, honing the skills necessary to deliver efficient, compassionate, and reliable public services. Throughout her career, Anne has remained dedicated to her community, continually growing and contributing to its betterment.
